Story:
Kaze no Tani no Naushika or Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, was inspired by a Manga serie with the same name created by Miyazaki. This movie shows the life of Nausicaä,
princess of the valley of the wind, one of the few reigns that survive, a 1.000 years after a horrible World War. The people of this land and her must face the army of the Tormekia reign, guided by Lady
Kushana, who wants to thake control of a "Warrior God"
as a weapon to destroy the contaminated lands and the giant insects that live in there, like the Oms. Nausicaä wants to find the way to stop this bloodbath because she believes in the power of love and in the posibility of an armonic coexistence of the man and the other living creatures.
Opinion:
This movie is made to touch your heart. Is full of positive messages and could make you cry. Her leading lady is strong, brave, but sensitive, just Miyazaki's style. Is the first movie of this director with the Studio Ghibli, and for me, an artpiece.
