Rated: Childrens. General audiences.

Based on Hans Christian Andersen's 'The little Mermaid' fairy tale, this movie tells the story of a little boy called Sousuke that finds a fish near his house, he decides to keep it and call it Ponyo, but this is really a fish-girl or little mermaid daughter of the ocean goddess and a wizard. She loves so much her new friend that she wants to become a human to live with him even if that affects the balance of all the world.

Is a beautiful story that both childrens and adults can enjoy. Perfect to watch with all the family. Friendship, perseverance, the importance of taking care of the nature, and the power of faith and love are some of the good messages of the movie. I enjoyed this movie from beggining to end, and some friends, that aren't as fans as anime as I am, love it too.
